I am a Plant Breeder using innovative breeding approaches ( both conventional and molecular) to develop crop varieties with high yields and resilience to biotic and abiotic stresses. I am currently working on breeding maize for resilience to climate change using the doubled haploid technology and genomic selection. I am also a lecturer in plant breeding, population genetics, crop improvement and related courses. From ORCID
